Well as you can tell by the infrequency of my posts
things are a little hectic at my house.
Since my last post our oldest son celebrated his 19th birthday.
Here he is blowing out his candles. I had to take the photo quickly
because he is not a fan of having his picture taken.
However, his requests for his birthday was a humungous
lens for his camera. He enjoys taking photos, but does not
like to be in the photos - go figure ??
I have also started to decorate for easter - can you believe
it is just around the corner??
Here is a photo of an easter basket I put together.
and here is one of my side board...
I love old silver platters, trays and tea sets so much so that my mom
picks them up whenever she goes to estate sales, yard sales or good will.
It never ceases to amaze me what people will get rid of.
My aunts always give me pieces for Christmas as well...
usually from their own collection which makes it mean so much more to me.
I told them to just go ahead and give me all of their silver
at once and just get it over with.
Apparently I am the only niece that they feel appreciate
such things and as a result I am the only recipient.
Considering I have about 23 female cousins that says a lot!!
Last night our youngest got to bring buddy bear home
to spend the night. Each student in his class gets to
bring buddy bear home and write in his journal.
Lance was very excited and we took a few
photos of him with Buddy Bear.
What you don't see in this photo is the leash on Shuey
(our Shih Tzu) behind Lance's back so Shuey
would stay there. Shuey was more interested in
the sandwich my husband was eating.
Can't you see it in his eyes? ummm roast beef
Happy birthday to your son! They're both handsome guys. Your sideboard looks great!
